Neil and Joan are busy building client boxes. This is a fun job at Amazing Grace Food Pantry – trying to fit as much as we can into these boxes to distribute. Each client receives 2 very full boxes with an average of 105 pounds distributed each week, plus any produce of their choice in our self-shopping area. Sometime we even have paper products to add – a real treat for families struggling to make ends meet.

We’re grateful to North Texas Food Bank who provides most of our fresh produce – items that are not always affordable but so very important for a healthy lifestyle. When families are in poverty and not using a local food pantry, on average, they don’t consume the recommended amount of fruit, vegetables, whole grains, and low-fat dairy products, and they consume fewer servings of these nutritious foods than other households.

Thank you to all who make this ministry possible! Your prayers, time and donations are putting smiles on faces of thousands of people. The need is growing as economic uncertainly impacts all of us. Tell your friends, family members and coworkers about Amazing Grace Food Pantry.

This single mother escaped human trafficking a few years ago. Kimmy and the kids lived in a shelter until she found a full time job. She still struggles to make ends meet and provide nutritional meals for her 3 children ages 9, 11, 12. She and the kids love coming to Amazing Grace Food Pantry where there is no judgement, just lots of love and nutritional food.

The noticeable difference in the kids attitude and helpfulness stems from good food and good neighbors like this pantry helping them through the tough times.
