God Bless these ministries who jumped at the chance to help!
This single mom of 6 is homeless. She called Amazing Grace Food Pantry in despair. Her car broke down while driving through Texas to go live with a relative. We were happy to deliver food and baby diapers. Then we made a bunch of calls to help lighten her immediate burden.
Wylie Christian Care stepped up to provide clothes, Walmart gift cards and activity books for the kiddos. St Vincent de Paul Rockwall stepped in to cover other expenses.
What a great Team / Network – all serving our Lord by serving others!
Her situation is more common than we can imagine. Many families are 1 paycheck away from homelessness. Organizations in the community offering assistance are an essential team for providing the right help for each family in need. Please consider investing your time, and/or donate, to ensure these vital community services can continue their mission.
Amazing Grace Food Pantry is exclusively a volunteer organization, relying upon the talent and generosity of community members to procure, sort and distribute over 30 TONS of food every month to area families. This monumental undertaking is only possible due to the altruism and support received each and every week from people just like you.
Do you have some free time on your hands?
Do you enjoy helping those in need?
Do you want to give back in some way that really changes the quality of life for someone?

This single mother escaped human trafficking a few years ago. Kimmy and the kids lived in a shelter until she found a full time job. She still struggles to make ends meet and provide nutritional meals for her 3 children ages 9, 11, 12. She and the kids love coming to Amazing Grace Food Pantry where there is no judgement, just lots of love and nutritional food.
The noticeable difference in the kids attitude and helpfulness stems from good food and good neighbors like this pantry helping them through the tough times.
Take the time to read some of the testimonials from clients and volunteers on our website. Volunteer or donate this year. It will bless you!
