Thank you Target for supporting the community with your gift registry. Those looking to help can visit the Target Gift Registry to see the latest list of items we’ve selected that are in short supply for food-insecure families.
We’re also adding an option for donations that allow community members to Adopt a Monthly Bill at Amazing Grace Food Pantry. As an all volunteer charity, AGFP depends solely upon the generosity of community members and local businesses not only for the food we provide our clients, but also to pay the bills. Many generous people have committed to recurring donations which have allowed us to grow from serving less than 50 families to over 200 in the last 4 years!
If you would like to know exactly where your donation is going, consider adopting one of the recurring monthly bills we pay, including trash, electric, water, internet and phone. For a complete updated list of those bills not currently covered by others, visit our Donate page for details.
You can also choose to adopt a family. Each week, we serve over 200 families a week’s worth of groceries. Through our partnership with the North Texas Food Bank, we are able to provide food and other items to a food-insecure family for roughly $10 per week. To adopt one of these and the growing number of families we serve, consider arranging a recurring monthly donation of $40.
