Welcome new volunteers!

July 20th, 2022|Categories: Latest News|

Amazing Grace Food Pantry was blessed with 3 new volunteers from Culleoka Baptist Church in Princeton this week! Ed, Stephanie and Katy shared a family day and braved the Hottest day of this summer (so far), 108 degrees, to ensure that 946 people got the nutritional groceries they needed.

Over 8,000 people rely on Amazing Grace Food Pantry for food in Collin County, many from Princeton. The most essential and costly budget item is food. In this economy, many struggle to put nutritional food on the table for their kiddos. Thanks to all the volunteers who take a few hours each week to serve others in all kinds of weather conditions throughout the year!

Amazing Grace Food Pantry is exclusively a volunteer organization, relying upon the talent and generosity of community members to procure, sort and distribute over 60 TONS of food every month to area families. This monumental undertaking is only possible due to the altruism and support received each and every week from people just like you.

  • Do you have some free time on your hands?
  • Do you enjoy helping those in need?
  • Do you want to give back in some way that really changes the quality of life for someone?

We also welcome volunteer groups! If your church, youth or corporate group would like to schedule a day to volunteer as a team building exercise, or to regularly adopt group-size tasks (e.g. yard work, improvements, cleanup, etc.), we’d love to hear from you! Call (972) 292-7241 to leave a voicemail message or use use the contact form on our Volunteer page.

No time to volunteer? That’s okay, too! Visit our Donation page to arrange a monthly donation. No amount is too small!

Rosie comes to Amazing Grace Food Pantry every week and loves all the fresh vegetables available. She appreciates the dedication of the friendly volunteers carrying her food to the car in any kind of weather.

If it wasn’t for this pantry, I wouldn’t have food, I wouldn’t survive.
