December 2nd, 2023|Categories: Latest News|Comments Off on Volunteers are bountiful during the Holidays

This single mother escaped human trafficking a few years ago. Kimmy and the kids lived in a shelter until she found a full time job. She still struggles to make ends meet and provide nutritional meals for her 3 children ages 9, 11, 12. She and the kids love coming to Amazing Grace Food Pantry where there is no judgement, just lots of love and nutritional food.

The noticeable difference in the kids attitude and helpfulness stems from good food and good neighbors like this pantry helping them through the tough times.

We love our Wylie Community!

Mike and Karen Ellis were invited to join the Marshall’s Grateful Gathering, Saturday, November 11. Wow, what a great turn out of friends and family to share their appreciation of each other and support to Amazing Grace Food Pantry! Thank you for the donated 50 boxes of cereal plus cash to provide 54 families groceries for a month!

Thank you, Karen Marshall, for your love and talent at M Events and Décor. Your Grateful Gathering spread was delicious and over the top Thanksgiving Decorations was very welcoming.

Meet Dean. He has a family of 6.

I’m thankful for the help Amazing Grace Food Pantry has to offer. Our family wouldn’t be able to pay the electric bill without their help. My kids love coming, too. Everyone is friendly and nice. My daughter and I started volunteering at the pantry, too. It’s great to be able to help alongside other Amazing Grace Pantry volunteers. Everyone has such a heart to help others.

“Ghoulfriends” make hard work fun!

November 3rd, 2023|Categories: Latest News|Comments Off on “Ghoulfriends” make hard work fun!

Amazing Grace Food Pantry “Ghoulfriends” always make the hard work at the pantry fun!

For Halloween, they cheerfully provided lots of food to over 900 people. The joy comes from knowing these precious folks won’t go hungry! We’re still able to provide lots of fresh fruit and veggies along with lots of other pantry staples, including frozen meats.

Looking for a way to help families in need over the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays?

November needs are:

Boxed Cereal
$20 gift cards to distribute to 1500 families to purchase their Holiday Turkey or Ham

Meet Candace. Candace joined the volunteer list in December.

I have volunteered at other pantries in Collin County in the past, but Amazing Grace Food Pantry ranks #1 in my book. They provide good food choices, food that people would want to buy for themselves if they could. The vibe here is awesome! It’s got a good family vibe, everyone is so nice. Reggie greets everyone with a big smile and makes clients feel welcomed and unashamed of their current financial struggle. This pantry has really motivated me to Pay It Forward in 2017!
