Project Description
This is a preliminary full site design for all future improvements to the Pantry property.
Featured here is the new expanded client parking with corrected egress to Parker Road. Additionally, the volunteer parking is relocated and expanded. The existing volunteer parking area will become a Pavilion for a number of ideas… produce distribution, outdoor events, community events, etc.
The star of the show, however, is the expanded building with dock-level access at the rear of the property. This addition will not only greatly increase the storage capacity of the pantry altogether, but also space for larger walk-in cooler and freezer. This expanded facility will also feature room for growth and other activities… more to share when we venture down the rabbit hole of interior design!
We are sharing this to help the community see our vision for maximizing the use of the land we are so grateful to have for this mission. Our goal is to continue to meet the needs of our Collin County and Rockwall County neighbors that rely upon us to help tamper the burden of life’s challenges. By providing groceries, including meats, dairy, grains, fruits and vegetables, those in need can focus their limited resources on other areas of import in their lives.
