With the temperature at 11 degrees this morning, we weren’t sure if any families would come for food today. Normally, Amazing Grace Food Pantry is open 8am till 11am on Saturdays, but today most of the 61 families didn’t come till after 10:30 when the sun finally warmed things up to 25 degrees.
The dedication and huge hearts of the volunteers is amazing! Everyone showed up early to get ready for the day and stayed late to serve the last family. It was cold, but so good to know that 255 people will have good meals this week.
New Building Update: The new building walls are up. We are in need of help getting the roll-up door installed. If you can help, call 972-292-7241 to leave a voicemail message.

In our current building, an old peer-and-beam house, clients must wait outside for their turn to get a weekly food box and fresh produce.
