This week Amazing Grace Food Pantry had the privilege to serve nutritional groceries to 126 families in Collin County – that’s over 530 people that won’t go hungry this week. Each family received over 90 pounds of grocery staples including fresh fruit, veggies, cheese and lots of meat for meals for the week.

We lift up those having to relocate from south Texas due to Hurricane Harvey. For those in Collin County and in need of emergency assistance, we’re here to help put food on the table during this disaster.

New Building Update:  The sheetrock is going up! Hope to complete sheetrock by mid September. Anyone willing to put in a couple hours over Labor Day weekend to sheetrock or tape and bed is welcomed to help!

Brooklyn held her 9th birthday party at Amazing Grace to help the community.

Thank you for allowing Brooklyn and her friends come to Amazing Grace on Saturday. It was so impactful and I think the girls left with a feeling of not only gratitude for what they have but also with a feeling of empowerment, knowing that they can help contribute and make a difference. I appreciate you taking the time to let them know about the work you do and why our community is in need of a food pantry. Thank you for all you do for our community and for opening your doors to us. May God continue to bless you and those you serve.

With gratitude,
Jenn
