The Thursday Monday team went in again today to process a big delivery from North Texas Food Bank. We had 9 regular volunteers and 3 community service workers.
Every month we receive a large order from North Texas Food Bank. This delivery is a vital supplement to our weekly donation pickups as it allows us to order specific items that tend to move quickly and regulary. Our relationship with NTFB allows us to acquire food at a fraction of retail costs, making your donated dollars stretch into the homes and onto the dinner tables of every family we serve. Every $10 we receive equates to a family in North Texas getting a week’s worth of groceries. For those families faced with the decision to shop for food or pay a bill, this relief is huge. With your help, we can continue to serve families in need.
