Gotta be honest I was very nervous my first time going as I’ve never been one to reach out for help. My hands were shaking and my heart was pounding but that all quickly went away when I started talking to the amazing volunteers and couldn’t believe how friendly each one was and with open arms ready to help you. It is very clean and well organized inside with plenty of seating available, I really like how they have it all set up the whole process they really did do a great job. They make sure to keep the line moving it there is a line but they make sure in a manner of helping you out not rushing you just letting you take your time. The times I have gone I was in and out within 5-10 min…. another BIG BONUS is that the volunteers load your boxes onto the cart and push it all the way to your car for you and even will load them without hesitation. (Just bring the boxes back the next time you visit as they do run short on them But sometimes they do need the boxes back right away so be prepared with bringing some shopping bags.) The second time I went I had offered to just push the cart myself and load my vehicle so the lady didn’t have to do it but she was very quick to say “Oh no it is okay I got it” even tho I was fully capable of doing so myself she still took the time and happily helped me. They do not judge you at all, they do not sit there and ask you a million questions of why did you come in they just happily help whoever walks through the door as they are even more happy that you stepped in and reached out for help. If you are reading this and it is your first time going to a pantry and maybe you are nervous then I would hands down recommend this place. I look forward to going back every week and am beyond happy that I reached out for help at this pantry. You all are such a blessing THANK YOU for putting in your time to help put food in peoples homes and THANK YOU for caring.
