I have visited Amazing Grace Food Pantry at times when life hits hard. Every time I have come, I have been greeted like a friend and my kids have been shown such love and attention. They always give enough food to make it through the week! I love you guys!

I have a passion for helping people and making sure basic needs are met. I joined Amazing Grace FP because they are great people who treat people with dignity and have a heart to help others right here in Collin Co. Working here, and helping families puts a smile on my face.

I started coming to Amazing Grace Food Pantry in 2016. My wife and I are retired and made ends meet ok until my 35 year old son had a near fatal car accident that left him mentally and physically handicapped. We took him into our home along with his two teenage kids. Our Social Security income isn’t enough to sustain a family of 5 with special needs. Amazing Grace Food Pantry provides nutritious food to last the week. I’m able to come every week for fresh produce and groceries that I couldn’t otherwise afford. Everyone here is hospitable and treats everyone with dignity and respect.

Lori started coming to Amazing Grace Food Pantry for assistance end of 2016. She moved to Texas last year after her 4 yr old daughter’s death. She is care taker for 2 elderly in-laws.

Amazing Grace Food Pantry is one of the only pantries in the area that provides such a wide variety of food and provides hygiene products that I just can’t afford. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Thank you for your service in helping our time of need. I struggle with depression over the loss of my baby girl. I look forward to the new building and any counseling classes you may offer.

I have volunteered at other pantries in Collin County in the past, but Amazing Grace Food Pantry ranks #1 in my book. They provide good food choices, food that people would want to buy for themselves if they could. The vibe here is awesome! It’s got a good family vibe, everyone is so nice. Reggie greets everyone with a big smile and makes clients feel welcomed and unashamed of their current financial struggle. This pantry has really motivated me to Pay It Forward in 2017!

Meet LaDonna. LaDonna joined our volunteer group the summer of 2016. She faithfully serves most Saturdays.

The volunteers at Amazing Grace Food Pantry treat each other like family, just like they treat the clients. Everyone has open arms and an open heart. It feels good to volunteer here and I look forward to being here on Saturdays. It’s great to get out and help others. AGFP is an amazing place to volunteer!

I’m so glad to volunteer here, the volunteers are so nice.  Years ago I was in need and Food Pantries really helped my family survive. Now that we’re back on our feet, I want to serve to help those in need. Amazing Grace Food Pantry functions very effectively. The client line isn’t as long as other pantries.
