Amazing Grace Food Pantry had the honor of meeting Alyssa this week. She’s in the Capstone Project at Richland Collegiate High School. Her future career will be teaching 3rd graders. She is bubbly and fun – we know classroom kids will absolutely love her!
Alyssa’s recent research paper was on how nutrition impacts children. Poor nutrition puts these kids at risk of poor brain development, weak learning capacity, low immunity and growth. She was compelled to donate nutritional food to her area food pantry, Amazing Grace Food Pantry, where we supply nutritional food to over 900 low income families each month and every week as well as backpacks to area schools with the Food4Kids Program.
Amazing Grace Food Pantry is exclusively a volunteer organization, relying upon the talent and generosity of community members to procure, sort and distribute over 30 TONS of food every month to area families. This monumental undertaking is only possible due to the altruism and support received each and every week from people just like you.
Do you have some free time on your hands?

Brooklyn held her 9th birthday party at Amazing Grace to help the community.
Thank you for allowing Brooklyn and her friends come to Amazing Grace on Saturday. It was so impactful and I think the girls left with a feeling of not only gratitude for what they have but also with a feeling of empowerment, knowing that they can help contribute and make a difference. I appreciate you taking the time to let them know about the work you do and why our community is in need of a food pantry. Thank you for all you do for our community and for opening your doors to us. May God continue to bless you and those you serve.
Take the time to read some of the testimonials from clients and volunteers on our website. Volunteer or donate this year. It will bless you!
Please share this and our other posts on your Facebook timeline, tweet it out on Twitter or forward via email. Many people looking to help or looking for help don't even know that ours and other pantries exist. Let others know there's help for them out there!
