Thank you January volunteers who helped Fight Hunger Together!
The need is often overlooked and unseen, but the need is increasingly real to many families struggling in Collin County. We see this need every week, as do our amazing volunteers.
If you want to volunteer, or to find out how your company, church, civic group or family can get involved together, visit our Volunteer page.
This January, Amazing Grace Food Pantry distributed 90,000 pounds of nutritious food to over 2000 people. Compared to last January, that’s 55% more people.
Your $10 donation feeds a family for an entire month. Visit our Donate page to arrange a monthly donation or to give a one-time gift.
Wes has a family of 3, with additional 3 grandchildren during the summer months.
He suffered a broken neck 20 years ago which left him partially paralyzed but was able to work delivering pizza for a long time. He lost his job 5 years ago due to his disability and was without food until he found Amazing Grace Food Pantry to meet this need. His condition as declined this year, one leg is now powerless.
With the pantry’s new building being ADA compliant, Wes has easy access to shop for groceries.
Please share this and our other posts on your Facebook timeline, tweet it out on Twitter or forward via email. Many people looking to help or looking for help don't even know that ours and other pantries exist. Let others know there's help for them out there!
