Wylie ISD sponsored their yearly Back To School Fair at First Baptist Wylie Saturday, August 10th.
1,000 kids received an abundance of school supplies & backpacks. Many got a complimentary haircut and immunization shots too.
Amazing Grace Food Pantry was one of the many resources at the event to meeting families in need and letting them know about our pantry to help put healthy food on their tables.
1 in every 4 kids in North Texas is food insecure. Children who grow up in food insecure households often lag behind their food-secure peers in terms of cognitive, emotional, and physical development.

I’m thankful for the help Amazing Grace Food Pantry has to offer. Our family wouldn’t be able to pay the electric bill without their help. My kids love coming, too. Everyone is friendly and nice. My daughter and I started volunteering at the pantry, too. It’s great to be able to help alongside other Amazing Grace Pantry volunteers. Everyone has such a heart to help others.
