Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the front lobby at Amazing Grace Food Pantry?

We’re open for client service on Tuesdays mid-day, Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings, but it takes teams of volunteers on Mondays, Thursday & Friday mornings to prepare for these busy client days. From driving to area grocery stores to pick up donations, to sorting / stocking food, and of course the daily task of cleaning / sanitizing all surfaces and floors.

Everyone at Amazing Grace Food Pantry is a volunteer, dedicating their time and talents to ensuring we are able to provide food for hundreds of families every week. From all walks of life, we come together to operate one of the most organized food pantries in North Texas. The hard work pays off when new visitors remark on how clean and efficient our pantry runs, and when new clients smile or even cry tears of joy when they leave with a large amount of food while being welcomed with dignity and grace.

They say it takes a “village”. We say it takes a family… a pantry family. Join our pantry family, bring your friends, coworkers or community organization to become part of this amazing group of volunteers!

Amazing Grace Food Pantry is exclusively a volunteer organization, relying upon the talent and generosity of community members to procure, sort and distribute over 60 TONS of food every month to area families. This monumental undertaking is only possible due to the altruism and support received each and every week from people just like you.

  • Do you have some free time on your hands?
  • Do you enjoy helping those in need?
  • Do you want to give back in some way that really changes the quality of life for someone?

We also welcome volunteer groups! If your church, youth or corporate group would like to schedule a day to volunteer as a team building exercise, or to regularly adopt group-size tasks (e.g. yard work, improvements, cleanup, etc.), we’d love to hear from you! Call (972) 292-7241 to leave a voicemail message or use use the contact form on our Volunteer page.

No time to volunteer? That’s okay, too! Visit our Donation page to arrange a monthly donation. No amount is too small!

Bible verse of the day

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.
