Amazing Grace Food Pantry continues to improve processes while the number of families we serve continue to increase each week.
We recently adopted a barcode system that allows clients to “sign in”, minimizing touch. Clients present their pantry card and within minutes their 2 boxes are customized and headed to their cars. The process is streamlined and easy to use. Our clients like that service is quick without sacrificing the customization or amount of food provided, plus we’re saving trees by not making copies of sign in sheets – that’s a plus!
This new pantry feature allows more than twice as many families to receive food each hour. These types of efficiency increases are vital as the number of families in need in Collin and Rockwall counties are challenging our ability to serve. We welcome the challenge, but our facility, resources and, most importantly, volunteers are routinely put to the test.

Amazing Grace Food Pantry is exclusively a volunteer organization, relying upon the talent and generosity of community members to procure, sort and distribute over 30 TONS of food every month to area families. This monumental undertaking is only possible due to the altruism and support received each and every week from people just like you.

Jessi and her girls take time out of their busy summer to volunteer every Tuesday to serve clients. They fill boxes full with meats, ice cream, coffee, pet food and any hygiene products needed. The girls have fun decorating the client boxes with designs and smiley faces to bring cheer to struggling families each week.
