Thank You City of Wylie – Taste of Wylie
Each year, the community gathers at the Taste of Wylie to sample a variety of foods from local restaurants and food trucks while supporting area food pantries. Every penny of the revenue generated at this event, either through ticket sales or sponsorships, goes directly to support Wylie Community Christian Care Center, Amazing Grace Food Pantry, 5 Loaves Food Pantry, and Hope for the Cities. This year, these four ministries split the total proceeds of $30,307
Honorable mention to our Volunteers who represented Amazing Grace Food Pantry at this event: Mike, Terri, Ronni and George
The event had sold out tickets and a great turnout! Donations that AGFP received from this event will feed 753 families for a month! That’s the Wylie Way!
Amazing Grace Food Pantry is exclusively a volunteer organization, relying upon the talent and generosity of community members to procure, sort and distribute over 60 TONS of food every month to area families. This monumental undertaking is only possible due to the altruism and support received each and every week from people just like you.

Our family wishes to extend our greatest thanks and appreciation for the effort made to serve the community with a food pantry.
Over the years, we have benefited greatly with your help in providing food for us. With our limited resources it was very difficult for us until we discovered the help you were giving to the community and only God knows the amount of personal time and spirit you have put into this.
Again, we thank you for all the help and hope that God will bless you and your families as you continue to serve with the smiling faces that greet everyone walking in your door.
