February 29th, we celebrated our volunteers with lunch, crafts, entertainment and prizes – Texas style!

Thanks to Mayor Hogue to brought lots of laughter with his Magic of Motivation presentation and to Ann and Clark Sutton for making a memorable Craft piece with the kiddos! Special acknowledgement to St Anthony’s Catholic Church who opened their kitchen, hall and arms to help us celebrate all the amazing volunteers who gave their time and love to those in need by supporting Amazing Grace Food Pantry!

2019 was a record year at Amazing Grace Food Pantry and 2020 forecast is to exceed this record by 20% already! Over 1.3 million pounds of food distributed to 1440 families in 2019 throughout Collin County. See how you can help in 2020 –  Make A Difference by Fighting Hunger Together with us!

Want to help #FightHunger Together? Call ahead to learn what shortage the pantry has or send your financial support to help fund the grocery budget. Your $10 donation will feed a family of 4 for an entire month!

I was introduced to Amazing Grace Food Pantry through a Love Your City Day our church put together. I was so impressed with the efficiency and care that was given to the donations and to those who came to receive a blessing from Amazing Grace.

I quickly knew this is where God was directing me to volunteer. I wanted it to be more than just an event, I wanted it to be a tangible way to make a difference. Being retired I want to give back not only to my church but also my community. We have lived in this community for over 50 years.

I brought both my Grandchildren to volunteer with me and as we left for the day they both asked to come back and do this again. Teach a child the ways they should go. It becomes a special time with their NaeNae.

I know this will be a family affair for us and many teachable moments for God to grow our compassion for others. Thank you Amazing Grace Food Pantry for being God’s hands and feet and allowing us to participate.
